York Giving Helping Hands - Meal Donations 100X 3000 Entries

This group was started on July 21 2018 after our founder Javan Mathews set out to perform

a simple act of kindness by buying 10 pizzas and heading downtown to feed the homeless.

During that act a group connected with Javan and yghh was created. After a few months into it co founder Michael Gurreri was appointed the director and has guided this group to a whole new level of execution and goal.  Through Tina Knotts Hyder's continued support and selfless dedication the cause continues to flourish and provide to the less fortunate.

Mission: To lead by example in helping the homeless and needy gain dignity through feeding clothing and simple conversation and instilling in them that they are worthy of our

giving!

We encourage local youth groups and/or parents to sponsor or volunteer for a day so that your children can experience the loving act of kindness and giving to the less fortunate.

At the beginning of every week you will see a sign up sheet posted under the announcement tab at the top of page for the following weekend. It will include volunteer times,food menu and donations.
